Welcome to Registration for the 2008-2009 Basketball Season.

The Goulbourn Basketball Association offers a tremendous environment for learning and playing basketball at a wide variety of skill levels and age groups. The basketball experience with the GBA can start as young as 5 years old and goes up through to 18 years of age. There are fun development programs, recreational house league, competitive teams, and elite competitive teams supported by the GBA. We work hard to offer the best possible basketball experience around. Please join us for the 2008-2009 basketball season!

The following rates apply for GBA registration...

The fees above apply to all GBA players. Our rates have increased over last season due to increases in the cost of gym time. We continue to believe that our sport is a tremendous value for the price.

An additional $90 fee per player applies to players who make it onto a competitive rep team. If you are trying out for a competitive rep team, please ensure the coach explains the additional costs associated with competitive play while try-outs are going on, before the team is selected. These costs can vary significantly depending on the season objectives for a given team.

For those interested in trying out for a competitive team, please be sure to indicate this on your registration to ensure you are contacted prior to try-out dates. Try-outs typically occur in September, before final registration is closed, so please be sure to register as early as possible. The number of competitive teams offered will depend upon indicated interest, as well as availability of coaches and gym time.

Steps to registration are:

  1. Read the Information Page (this page) completely
  2. Complete the Online Registration Form and Submit
  3. In 3 days or so, you will receive a confirmation email
    Please be patient as work and vacation may cause delays of more than a week in sending out confirmation emails
  4. Send your cheque and printed copy of your confirmation email to the address below
  5. Once your cheque has been received by the registrar, you will receive another confirmation email that you are registered

Please make cheque payable to: Goulbourn Basketball Association. Your final confirmation email can act as a receipt for tax purposes. Please mail a printed copy of your confirmation email along with your registration cheque to:
